‘Metta In Action’ – Direct and Uncomplicated Help in Burma
We are a group of people who help people in need all over Burma. Our activities started in 2007, when the economic situation worsened and many people across Burma struggled with even greater difficulties. After cyclone Nargis swept over the southern part of Burma in May 2008, we stepped up our efforts to help people in need with food, clothing, shelter, and medical treatment. We are open to help where help is needed. We also have a number of projects to support Burmese nuns, monks and lay people on a regular basis. Thanks to many generous donations we are able to provide this valuable support to the Burmese people.
Ariya B. Baumann is a founding member and president of the association ‘Metta In Action’ (MIA).
